This is one of my first memories of Foodstuffs... the sight of my brother Jamie in the store at Cambridge, where we began in 1982.
At the risk of sounding like the younger sibling - it was all his idea - he talked me into it!
...and I'll thank him forever for that.
A few months later we opened the store in Georgetown and our mom Margaret and I held the fort here while Jamie, with help from our dad Bob, held the fort in Cambridge.
Later Jamie went back into the wholesale trade and Foodstuffs Cambridge was sold.
Not sure how long it lasted after that... we were sort of busy minding our own business here in Georgetown!
