In 2004 our granddaughter Laura was four years old and very interested in Dora the Explorer. When she visited us, we would walk downtown and visit Foodstuffs, which had cake pans hanging on the wall. She always looked carefully at them until she found the Dora cake pan. One day she decided she wanted to borrow the Dora pan. Unfortunately, it had 2 names taped on it, and I told her other people had called & reserved the pan, so we couldn't borrow it.
She started crying, and Deborah came over to soothe her & explain that there are three Dora pans, so we can borrow this one. Laura was delighted, and I paid the $3 rental charge and handed it to her to carry home.
Not all stores are as caring about the feelings of a little girl!
