Marmalade Sauce

From Anne Lindsay’s “Lighthearted Everyday Cooking”.


  • 1/2 cup marmalade
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp each grated lemon and orange rind
  • 5 cups sliced fruit or berries
  • 2 tbsp Cointreau or orange liqueur (optional)


  1. In bowl, mix marmalade, orange and lemon juice and rind.
  2. Add sliced fruit or berries; gently stir to mix well.
  3. Cover and let stand for up to 4 hours.

Just before serving, stir in Cointreau (if using).
